Bank
of Billings hosted their 2nd Annual Customer Appreciation day on
October 14th. Bank of Billings Staff provided and served
complimentary hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and soda. Over 200 local bank
customers attended the event and registered for the door prizes which
included bank savings bonds and area gift certificates. President Keith
Willcut stated “Bank of Billings was proud to serve and express our
gratitude to our customers that attended our appreciation day, Bank of
Billings appreciates our customer everyday but it is nice to have a special
event once of year to express our indebtedness. ”
On Saturday June 14th, Bank of Billings hosted its first annual “Customer Appreciation Day” at the Marionville Branch. Bank of Billings staff served complimentary hamburgers, hotdogs and beverages to all customers. Allen Phillips Band from Springfield provided the entertainment and JC’s drive-in from Billings provided the food. Over 250 local customers and community members attended the event. Paula Murphy and Edna Pendergrass won savings bonds as door prizes and Juantia Smith and Mary Brown received gift certificates to JC’s drive-in in Billings.
Customer Lorraine Ghan attended and stated “The band and the food was great and the people from Bank of Billings are always so friendly.” Bank President Keith Willcut followed“ This was a great opportunity for Bank of Billings staff to express our appreciation to the many customers of the Marionville community. The turnout was overwhelming and we would like to continue this event for many years to come.”
Bank of Billings was founded in 1889 and recently
acquired the Marionville Branch from First State Bank of Purdy in December
2007.

Bank of Billings Acquires Marionville Bank
Bank of Billings, Christian County's oldest financial institution, has acquired the assets of First State Bank of Purdy's Marionville Branch. The acquisition was finalized on Monday, December 10th, 2007 in Billings MO.
"The feedback from the community and the staff has been very positive. Customers realize that Bank of Billings was established in 1889 and has always been dedicated to serving the residents of these wonderful communities" said Keith Willcut, President of the Bank of Billings.
"Bank of Billings has spent over a century earning the trust of the Billings community. We are confident that the addition of the Marionville branch will give us the opportunity to build relationships with the same integrity in the Marionville area and better serve all customers," Willcut stated.
Marionville Branch Manager Karri Stanton added, "We are very excited about teaming with Bank of Billings. They have wonderful employees and we will continue to meet the needs of our existing customers while providing an alternate location for our new customers from the Billings area."
Bank of Billings now has two full service banking facilities and two ATMs available for their customers.
